Translation of technical manuals for industry

The translation of technical manuals encompasses a whole range of highly practical documents relating to the production, sales, installation, training, safety, operation and maintenance of a product, machine, plant or piece of equipment.

The translation of technical manuals into the language of the customer or end user is a key factor in good branding in selected foreign markets. Making one’s own product and service offering clear and understandable is fundamental to increasing global brand sales and awareness.

If a company’s technical and commercial documents, such as catalogues and brochures, are perfectly and consistently written in the language of the target country, its brand will be perceived as well established and well integrated. This is an essential aspect in internationalising the supply of your products and services; it cannot be ignored if your business is to be successful.

While you focus on production, we think about your Italian reach!

Our aim is to provide you with a high-quality, attentive and personalised service, aimed at making your product and service offering clear and effective for the success of your brand in Italy.

How we work

We approach each new job with the same enthusiasm as the first, but with the processing methodology that has proven over time to guarantee optimum results.
Every time we are entrusted with a document, here’s what we do:

  1. We read it carefully to identify the technical area it covers;
  2. We analyse it from the point of view of terminology;
  3. We translate it with total respect for the style and tone of the original, using specific glossaries built up over time by sector and by client, and carrying out relevant online research;
  4. We read it over several times at intervals of a few hours or a day before the final revision, eliminating any typing errors and refining its overall cohesion and quality;
  5. We submit it for a final reading by an experienced reviewer;
  6. We deliver it to the client, always within the agreed time frame and in the agreed format.

Dora Rossetti’s first-hand experience

I have always been fascinated by the industrial world and, right at the start of my career in 1989, I was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to work as an interpreter for a year at the steelworks in Taranto.

That year was priceless for me, both on a human and professional level.

Translating alongside all the Italian and foreign professionals involved in the production process in direct contact with the raw materials, the machinery in action and a dedicated technical team was an immensely formative experience.

It was there that I had my first understanding of what a factory is and how industrial and human processes work.

For a budding technical translator on a mission to serve industry, this was a pivotal experience.

Since 1989, the industry has moved with the times, gradually integrating artificial intelligence into its processes and creating more efficient production flows.

This hasn’t led to a lack in the demand for professional linguistic support; in fact, I’m proud to have been the trusted linguistic point of reference for many national and international digitalised manufacturing companies using intelligent equipment, systems and products to improve their operations and business processes.

All these years of experience in the sector, my working method (which I have perfected over time), and the passion I have always had for automation, mean I can offer my clients personalised language services. My services are tailored to your needs, always on time and fully respect the content and format of the original.
